This game is seriously cool. It took me a while to really understand how things worked but after I noticed most things it was seriously good fun. Really great job on this, especially for a week

This game is amazing all around! The art, music, and gameplay work so well together, and I'm absolutely charmed. It definitely worked very well as a roguelike, and I love it.

One thing in particular I was in awe of was the art- the UI and game visuals were extremely cohesive, and the pops of color from the enemies really drew the eye. All the menus felt easy to navigate, and the map/bars/floor indicator were simple to read!

One thing I think the game could definitely benefit from is having a boss level, to add to the sense of progression and give the players something more to build up to. :)

Played through it - really solid game! Like it had a lot of polish and nothing felt SUPER broken (which is already awesome for a game jam :D)

But beyond that, the design was tight - progression between runs was clean, except maybe after reaching floor 10 when the takoyaki becomes broken haha

The enemy attack timer was also a unique feature that made combat interesting! I hadn't seen something like that in other games.

Wow! The polish on this game is incredible!

I kept saying just one more run... Which is impressive, bc I'm someone who usually doesn't like roguelikes. The UI is phenomenal, the art is great. I really liked this game!

I didn't quite understand the premise the first time I played through, I thought I was making snacks to eat later in the dungeon to heal - I didn't understand that it was boosting my stats. I think a stat screen that shows you how each snack boosts your stats would help make it clearer to the player.

I'm so impressed by the replayability of this game. It's crazy. Every time I died I was like "alright I'm done", but then I saw I had another wheat and I was hooked back in. I do think that I wouldn't have completed it if I didn't see that it only went to floor 11.

The progression is really satisfying too. It feels great to go from dealing 3 damage to 372. That felt really nice. Each time my stats grew I was like "alright I can def make it to the top now"

There was one time when I died and I made a takoyaki with worse stats than my life before. That was pretty frustrating.

Truly well done! Phenomenal!

I love the monochromatic aesthetic! I think if you did a simple palette swap for each floor that'd be a cool and easy way to create visual variation for the player.

(I beat the game, got the spoon and headphones. Super cute.)
